Promenade West

Promenade West is a condominium complex in downtown Los Angeles, whose residents wanted to give their building a new look. To respond to the surrounding development taking place on First and Grand Streets, the client requested more street presence on First Street to enhance their exposure to cars and pedestrians passing by as well has revitalizing a community center, pool area, and south lawn.

A perforated metal surface is being utilized to create signage along First Street and is also used for a larger surface that wraps onto the ceiling through the motor court, creating an elegant, undulating, lighting system that leads visitors into the lobby.
